I actually ready Tammy's website often but haven't been to the 5 min. for Spe. Needs before. I can't imagen how it must feel to hear that word. My step-son used the R word several years ago....I explained that the R word was used in to tease his friends Robb, Sherri, etc and it was very hurtful. I haven't heard him use it again.---I run a residentail and day program for adults with Developmental Disabilities--<BR/><BR/>For some reason the R word is regularly used in conversation in New England. It blows my mind.<BR/><BR/>Just recently, MA has decided to change the name from Depart. of MR to Depart. of Developmental Services.
