Now that I am home during the week with Gabi, I thought we could start taking advantage of the use of the school bus! Gabi has always loved riding the bus in the past so I figured, why not? Sunday night, I attempted to prepare her that she was going to be riding the bus on Monday. She got this pathetic, sad tone to her voice, lowered her lip and said "I don't want it!" I had to remind her that she loves the bus. So, Monday morning comes, and sure enough she was happy to ride the bus. This was her first time riding one in over a year. Here are some pictures of us waiting for the bus:
And here comes the bus!
When she got off the bus in the afternoon, she said bye to her bus driver. The bus door closed, and she turned around and said "Bye bus, see you marrow."

6 Sweet Thoughts Shared:
How cute! I was scared to let my son get on the bus last year, but he wanted to do it so bad! I caved in and he seemed like such a big boy climbing onto the bus.
I know I've said it before, but I just love her pigtails!
Great pictures! I hope she had a great day at school!
she looks like such a big girl heading off to school!
Kayla does the same thing w/the school bus! "bye bus! bye bye!" Last year her teacher told me she started doing this and then all of the other kids started saying bye to the bus as well :)
Way to be, Gabi! Excited for school is a good thing. Hope it's a great year!
Too sweet!
And so brave to take the bus!
Oh wow, she is just beautiful!
